INFINIX S2 Pro (X522) is one of the latest smartphones from the Infinix Mobility. It is an upgrade from Infinix Hot S in terms of specs but the screen size remains the same.

Display

Infinix S2 Pro has a 5.2 inch HD display. This gives you a clear and crisp view of your documents, picture and videos without any strain. It has three slots on the back. One slot is for the micro SD card while the other two slots are for the SIM cards. One slot supports the normal SIM card while the other supports a Micro-SIM card. No more opening your phone to swap the SIM cards.

Network/ Data

Infinix S2 pro supports 4G network which is much faster than 3G network. This will allow for non-stop video streaming and non-interrupted video chatting. Don't worry if you find yourself in areas with no 4G network coverage since this smartphone is backward compatible i.e. it still supports 3G, EDGE and GPRS networks.

Infinix S2 Pro is powered by a 3000mAh battery. This will give enough juice to keep you power up phone all day long. It also has a fingerprint sensor that increases security access to your phone. You can also use the fingerprint sensor to take picture and answer call.

Memory

Infinix S2 Pro has an internal memory of 32 GB which is twice its predecessor. It can support a memory card of upto 128GB. This is enough room to store all your files (music, documents, photos, videos) and access them on the go. Say Bye bye to out of space warnings. This smartphone has more room for apps with a RAM of 3GB. It has a processor speed of 1.3 GHz giving enough speed to perform the tasks required.

Camera

Infinix S2 Pro has two cameras in the front- 13MP and 8MP respectively. The front 13MP camera is for taking welfies; a new term describing group selfies. It has an ultra-wide 135 angle lens that enables capturing more people in a selfie without using a selfie stick. The 8MP camera is for taking normal selfies. It has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash. This enable you to take better photos in places with poor lighting.

THE GOOD

THE DOWNSIDE

Battery: 3000mAh battery is good enough. Considering Infinix Mobility have already powered a phone with 4000mAh battery, this was a bit of a letdown for me.
Colour: The phone is currently offered in one colour. Availability of variety of colours would be a great thing, but for now, we are stuck with gold.
